The ancient practice of using wild ingredients is being rediscovered and foraged food is increasingly on the menu at top restaurants. Get the know-how on sustainable and safe foraging for unusual wild ingredients with Wild Feast. I can help you become more confident in recognising common edible wild plants – how to identify those worth eating and those best left in the wild.
On a Wild Feast course you’ll to learn how to identify a range of edible wild plants and how to use wild food to prepare tasty dishes and drinks. I develop many of my own original recipes for the wild cookery sessions on my courses, making the most of wild flavours and local seasonal ingredients.

I specialise in courses that offer both foraging tuition and wild food cookery. These are currently based at a country home, usually on a Saturday or Sunday, and all are welcome! Courses are usually held in Iden (near Rye), Three Oaks, and the East Sussex area at present.
I also hold several shorter (2-3 hour) foraging walks through the year and attend various events further afield across Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
I aim to tailor my courses and walks to your skill level, whether you’re a complete beginner, or already have some foraging experience.
If you’d like to discuss holding a private walk, event or course, contact me.
